What TV Shows to Watch this Autumn

Fall is one of my favorite seasons, and one of the reasons why are the amazing TV shows! I know I sound like a total couch potato saying that, but there are truly great shows on TV in the fall. Some of these are new shows, some are old, but get out your remote, program your DVR and add these to your list!

You're the Worst

It's season two, but you should catch up and watch season one first. The show focuses on the two main character Gretchen and Jimmy who are both twenty-something year olds and highlights their lives in a dark NSFW humorous way. Catch it on Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. Eastern on FXX.

American Horror Story: Hotel

I've already explained a few times why you need to be watching AHS. This season will take place in a hotel (duh...), has Lady Gaga on the cast, and is perfect for your pre-halloween horrors. Returns October 7th at 10 p.m. Eastern on FX.

Empire

I totally just got into Empire recently and have no idea how I went so long without it. It was so good that Fox brought it back early since last year, season one premiered in January. It's a music drama with an amazing cast, music you'll want on your iPod, and many guest appearances! Catch it on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. Eastern on Fox

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Yes. yes. and yes. Catch it on weeknights at 11:35 p.m. Eastern on CBS.

The Affair

If you haven't been watching, you're missing out. This romantic drama is a whirlwind of action and has already won two Golden Globes! One of my favorite parts of this was that the viewer was able to see all the action from two different points of views. Teaser: This season will add Helen's point of view too! Returns Sunday, October 4, at 10 pm Eastern on Showtime

Scream Queens

Okay, so I debated not adding this in, but this show is ridiculous in all the good ways. With a cast including Lea Michele, Emma Roberts, and even Ariana Grande in it, Scream Queens is sure to impress. The series is produced by Ryan Murphy who created Glee and is all about a college sorority murder mystery. Catch it on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Fox.

What are you looking forward to watching this Fall?

On a second, unrelated note I will be co-hosting a twitter chat for the first time ever! It is the #Passionchat and will be about the importance of social media which we all know is huge for bloggers. I would absolutely be tickled pink if you could al join even just for a question or two. it will be held at 8 p.m. Eastern time and don't worry, if you have never participated in a twitter chat before it's easy! If you have any questions on how to participate or twitter chats in general tweet at me (@alannaandco) or email me. I would love to answer your questions!
