Current Confessions

Hey guys and gals. I feel like I need to apologize a bit for writing a whole lot of fluff and boring posts (this one included). #Slacking. Life has been a bit wild and crazy, and of course I've had issues with keeping up. I used to schedule my posts out a week in advance and that is just not happening right now. I need to get a laptop or tablet that I can take to the pool to type out my posts. So here it is.

This blog post and writing up my blog post inspirations for later.

Planning:
July Fourth weekend. I still don't have plans and need to get some!

Reading:
I'm finishing up Ladie's Night by Mary Kay Andrews and then I'm either going to start Goldfinch or Ashley's books that she gave me for the summer book swap.

Needing:
A new purse, more money for rent, some more wall art for my new bare apartment, more tanning at the pool, a new gym that's inexpensive. #alltheneeds

Eating:
M&M's. Yes, I know it's not even 9 a.m. right now. #judgeme

Drinking:
Water, water, and more water. Gotta keep hydrated!

Wishing:
A new purse.

Why I'm a Bad Blogger

Yay for Wednesdays. Yay for confessions! Today I have to confess...I'm a bad blogger. And here are the reasons why:

I confess I'm a bad blogger because....I suck at make-up. I suck at make-up tutorials. And by make-up tutorials, I mean following the instructions of others. If you expect me to make any how-to post anytime soon, expect a post that is what not to do.

I confess I'm a bad blogger because...I still can't justify spending all my extra cash on this damn blog. I have splurged on some sponsorships (Hey Ash & Stephanie!) but paying for hosting my blog is just not on my radar. I have figured out how to work PicMonkey like a pro (no photoshop for me!), and lastly my iPhone takes damn good photos. Sorry not sorry.

I confess I'm a bad blogger because...I'm not a Mormon, I'm not engaged/married, and I'm not a mommy! Also, I still haven't figured out why there are so many Mormons who blog! Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating, I'm just still curious why there's such a huge majority...

I confess I'm a bad blogger because...I don't like running or yoga and have never tried Barre.

I confess I'm a bad blogger because...I'm not good at taking selfies or OOTDs. I also still get self-conscious about taking photos in public.

I confess I'm a bad blogger because...I don't particularly like to do DIY projects. I always say I will....but I never do.

I confess I'm a bad blogger because...my boyfriend and I don't have the most romantic "how we met" love story. It was more like, I was drunk at a fraternity party and he offered me a refill of jungle juice.

Oh well, screw stereotypes! Also I love my followers who like my bad blogging, you guys make every week better! Happy Humpday!

Work Attire and a Case of Missing Time

Ugh being back from San Francisco sucks! It was a crazy trip and I had a ton of fun. I promise I'll give an overview of my packing and what activities I did shortly! But for now!

I confess that..

I am starting to try and make an editorial calendar. Something basic like on Monday we wear pink! Just kidding, I couldn't resist. More like, on Mondays I will post something that is pinnable!

I haven't seen one episode of the Bachelor yet! I'm slacking majorly. It's all on my DVR though, so when my boyfriend is out for a doctor's appointment tonight I promise to catch up!

I hate wearing slacks to work. I will happily wear dresses and skirts all winter into work.

I have also torn through at least five pairs of tights this winter :'(

I'm totally scared that February is going to fly by! There are tons of things that I'm doing in February and March that I am just not prepared for!
